President

As President and Managing Director, Mario Matulich oversees overall business operations and strategic growth initiatives for CMP, a leader in delivering market research, events, and communities to organizations that value customer centricity. With 17+ years of experience, Mario has helped transform an events company into a leading provider of market analysis and industry connections by developing a winning culture built on confidence, innovation, poise, collaboration, and “customer first” quality standards. Today, CMP is a trusted partner and resource that serves multiple functions and disciplines throughout the customer journey. Fun Fact: A graduate of the college prep school, Chaminade High School, Mario went on to play college baseball at Oklahoma State University and professional baseball for the Cleveland Guardians Organization.

Nicole Kyle

Nicole Kyle

Managing Director, CMP Research

Nicole Kyle is Managing Director and co-founder of CMP Research. Nicole joined CMP in November 2021 from Gartner, where she spent eight years leading research and advisory. Nicole is known for her exceptional work in customer contact, work strategy, and employee engagement, delivering frame-breaking insights that have supported critical decision-making across hundreds of enterprise-level leadership teams. Prior to Gartner, Nicole was a journalist and still maintains the natural curiosity of a journalist in her research. Fun Fact: Nicole lived and worked in London for five years.

Brian Cantor

Brian Cantor

Managing Director, CMP Digital

Brian Cantor is the Managing Director of Customer Management Practice’s Digital division. Driven by a passion for helping brands better empower their employees and more meaningfully connect with customers, Brian oversees research, product development, editorial vision, and commercial strategy for properties like CCW Digital and Customer Engagement Insider. Reaching a community of almost 200,000, these digital properties offer industry-leading commentary, research reports, and virtual event sessions. Far from a “boardroom manager,” Brian routinely speaks at leading customer contact events and directly engages with global enterprises and innovative start-ups via training and advisory services sessions. Fun Fact: Brian has impeccable artistic taste, as evidenced by the fact that the first concert he attended growing up was a Baha Men / A*Teens double feature.

Michael DeJager

Michael DeJager

Managing Director, Events

Michael DeJager is the Managing Director of the Customer Management Practice’s Events division. He leads CMP’s cross-functional events teams and directly manages the analyst team as they produce industry-leading events across CMP’s customer contact, customer engagement, design and innovation sectors. He brings 15+ years of event experience to CMP, having hosted domestic and international events across a wide variety of industries to include international trade, anti-corruption, commercial real estate, design and customer experience. Michael joined the Customer Management Practice in October 2016. Fun Fact: Despite Michael’s Oklahoma roots, he maintains an obsession for fine dining, cocktails, outrageous hospitality and travel. When not in New York or traveling to CMP’s in-person events, he likes to maximize his time abroad, whether it be with friends in Italy or with his partner at their home in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.

Lauren Miller

Lauren Miller

Head of Marketing

Lauren Miller is the Head of Marketing at the Customer Management Practice. Lauren started her career at the company as a Marketing Assistant, led marketing campaigns for the company’s largest events as a Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager, and helped scale CMP’s flagship Customer Contact Week in Las Vegas as the Divisional Marketing Director. As the Head of Marketing, she leads CMP’s marketing team across the live event and online community divisions. Fun Fact: Lauren loves hiking and has hiked her way through Banff, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, California, New York and New Hampshire.

Founder and Principal of Customer Contact Women

Sandy Ko is the Founder and Principal of Customer Contact Women (CCWomen) at the Customer Management Practice, and an award-winning intrapreneur recognized by Leading Women Entrepreneurs and named to Insight Success’ Top 10 Most Ambitious Women in Business to Follow. Sandy noticed the need for a space for women and allies to celebrate women and to support them in their careers, which led her to create CCWomen in 2018, a community for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the customer contact space. Fun fact: Sandy majored in Music Education with a focus on the clarinet.
